My 5 year old grandson recently started having having ticks and the doctor thinks it is tourettes. My daughter has an appointment with a second neurologist just to be sure, but everything we've been reading seems to point to tourettes. It's a real shocker, the ticks started suddenly. He has always been kind of hyper, but a few weeks before the ticks started, my daughter said he became much moreso.

My daughter is 4 1/2 and currently has an embarrassing complex tic in which she holds her crotch and "humps" her hips. DD turned 13 last month and is doing very well.
Tics are low, anxiety is low, ADHD is still there, but she is doing well and keeping her grades up (A/B Honor Roll).
We added a low dose of Daytrana to her Strattera and that seems to be helping a little more.
