			<title><![CDATA[ Child with Tourettes ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have an 11 year old daughter who was recently diagnosed with Tourettes.  We already knew she had ADHD, anxiety and OCD before.  Her tics are so severe and
some are quite strange.  She has one were she feels like she has to run away.  Neurologist says its a medication side effect or tic, therapist says its a tic,
others say it has nothing to do with the Tourettes.  UUGH!  Has anyone else experienced anything like this?  Need help.

  kind of hyper, but a few weeks before the ticks started, my daughter said he became much moreso.

stammering.....etc. About a year ago my daughter took him to the dr, due to complaints from teacher of horrible throat clearing...very loud, very often. We all
believed he had bad allergies. Dr quickly checked.....not a thing wrong. She said it sounded like a very bad tic....gave a tentitive diag. of tourettes. She

DD turned 13 last month and is doing very well.

Tics are low, anxiety is low, ADHD is still there, but she is doing well and keeping her grades up (A/B Honor Roll).
